Thrown Under The Car
Albert Miles a mail carrier, received terrible and perhaps fatal injuries last evening. He was steering a long sled, filled with a dozen coasters, down the steep hill on Sherman street, and ran into a Liberty park electric car. (streetcar) All the coasters were terribly shaken up, and Miles was caught under the wheels. His skull was fractured, one leg broken and many other cuts and bruises were received. He was removed to the Protestant hospital, and Mrs. Ruth and Catterson were summoned. This afternoon he was reported as conscious and there are some hopes of his recovery.
