Adolph was a blacksmith born in Wisconsin. He was the
son of H. Schwalen and Mary Kolt both born in Germany.
Smith's Funeral Home handled the services. The
Washington State Digital archives had his death
certificate, but the name is typed Schwaden and
his fathers name is typed Schwalen
